The important dates

15th October 2023 – Entries open

15th November 2023 (23.59) – Entries close

1st December 2023 – Top 40 announced

10th December 2023 – The 10 finalists announced

Sunday 11th February 2024 – The 2024 live final at the Lighthouse Theatre, Poole.
Tickets go on sale to the public on 3rd January 2024. All tickets £15 each from the Theatre box office.


NEW – Ultimate Drum Experience education day

Saturday 10th February 9.30am – 6.00pm

This new event has 3 top international teachers/drummers with 6 hours of class tuition.
Only 35 places available.  £200 per place,  including lunch and a free YDOTY final ticket.

ABOUT RESTORE THE MUSIC
Founded in 2017, Restore the Music UK is a low overhead/high impact charity funding the resourcing of music depts in state schools in areas of high socio-economic deprivation.

The RTM UK Capital Grant programme has delivered £1.6million in funding awards to 90 schools across 27 London boroughs and the North East (Birmingham, Manchester and Newcastle), delivering transformative opportunities and multiple pathways to 70,000+ young people. Restore the Music UK is committed to providing equal access to music for every child and with it, the benefits of social cohesion and mobility that a levelling up in music education can deliver.
